Is that store official? How to check a nail equipment seller
Which nail brands confirm their own Amazon stores, why no brand-confirmed AliExpress store turned up, and how to check a seller before you buy.

Short answer
A store is the brand's own only if the brand says so on its own website. A store name, a logo or a site with the brand in its address is not enough. Of the nail brands we checked, MelodySusie names its "MelodySusie Direct" store on Amazon,[1] and Makartt links its own Amazon brand stores from makartt.com.[2] We found no brand-confirmed AliExpress store for any of them, and none for KUPA or Kiara Sky on any marketplace.
What we found, brand by brand
| Brand | What the brand's own site says | What we could not establish |
|---|---|---|
| MelodySusie | Its warranty and return terms cover melodysusie.com and the "MelodySusie Direct" store on Amazon; purchases from authorized resellers go to those resellers[1] | An official AliExpress store; no AliExpress link or mention on the pages we read |
| Makartt | Its Amazon Sale page links to Makartt brand stores on Amazon in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany and Spain[2] | An official AliExpress store; a single AliExpress product link on that page does not establish one |
| SUNUV | Sells direct at sunuv.com and its FAQ refers to customers' "website or Amazon order"[3] | A SUNUV-controlled link to a specific Amazon storefront, or any official AliExpress store |
| KUPA | No marketplace link on the KUPA pages we read | Any official Amazon or AliExpress store |
| Kiara Sky | No marketplace link on the Kiara Sky pages we read | Any official Amazon or AliExpress store |
| Medicool | Its warranty excludes products bought from unauthorized resellers[4] | Which marketplace sellers are authorized |
MelodySusie's contact page also supports orders placed through its Amazon shop, and lists TikTok Shop, Shein and Walmart as order channels.[5]
Lookalike sites are not the brand
A website with the brand's name in it can still be someone else's. sunuvstore.com, for example, describes itself in its own terms as a product-information site that earns Amazon Associates and AliExpress commissions, and it does not say SUNUV runs it.[6] Its links are not evidence of an official SUNUV store anywhere.
Patents do not settle it either. Kiara Sky's patent page lists US design patents for its lamps, portable drill and dust collector,[7] but a patent list cannot tell you whether a particular listing is genuine.
How to check a seller yourself
- Start on the brand's own website. Look for its contact, returns, warranty or "where to buy" pages. If the brand names or links a marketplace store, that store is brand-linked.
- On Amazon, read "Ships from" and "Sold by" on the product page. Look for Amazon.com or a seller the brand names. The seller can differ by delivery address and between variants of the same listing.
- Check who handles returns. When a third-party seller fulfills its own inventory, returns go to that seller rather than to Amazon.[8]
- Look for a Transparency code if the brand uses one. Amazon Transparency lets shoppers scan codes with the Amazon Shopping or Transparency app to verify authenticity for enrolled brands.[9] A missing code does not prove a fake, because not every brand is enrolled.
- Check the warranty terms. If the maker's warranty excludes unauthorized resellers, as Medicool's does,[4] buying from an unknown seller can cost you the warranty even if the product is genuine.
- When in doubt, email the brand with the seller name and ask whether it is authorized.
On this site, every Amazon pick asks you to check that "Ships from / Sold by" shows Amazon.com or the brand before you buy. Our links open the product page; we cannot fix who the seller will be for your address.

Questions
Is MelodySusie Direct on Amazon the official MelodySusie store?
MelodySusie's own returns page says its warranty and return terms cover melodysusie.com and the 'MelodySusie Direct' store on Amazon.[1]
Does KUPA have an official Amazon or AliExpress store?
We could not establish one. The KUPA pages we read link to no marketplace store, so we do not call any marketplace KUPA seller official.
Is sunuvstore.com SUNUV's own website?
Its own terms describe a product-information site that earns Amazon Associates and AliExpress commissions, and they do not say SUNUV runs it. SUNUV sells direct at sunuv.com.[6][3]
Does Amazon Transparency prove a nail drill is genuine?
For brands enrolled in it, scanning the Transparency code verifies authenticity. A missing code does not prove a fake, because not every brand takes part.[9]
